Receptionist guide

Day-to-day flows: registering, booking, billing, and the queue.

Your daily start

  1. Sign in with your work email.
  2. Land on the Queue page — it shows today's tokens live.
  3. Confirm today's Appointments for scheduled patients.

Walk-in registration

From the Patients page, search by phone or name. If the patient isn't there, click + New patient. Capture consent (required), then add them to the queue by clicking Add to queue on their row.

Calling the next patient

The doctor's queue updates live (Server-Sent Events). You don't need to refresh. When the doctor clicks Call next, the next token enters consultation and the patient sees the change on the waiting-room board.

Recording a payment

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Find the invoice (or create one from the encounter).
  3. Click Record payment, choose method, enter amount, save.
  4. The receipt PDF generates immediately — print or share via WhatsApp.

End of day

  • Glance at Analytics → Revenue for today's totals.
  • Check the queue for any tokens still marked "Waiting" — mark them no-show.
  • Sign out (or leave the tab open; sessions auto-expire after inactivity).
